Privacy Policy

ATS.rip is committed to your privacy. Our architecture is built around data minimisation. Your CV/resume and optional job description are processed temporarily for the purpose of providing the optimisation and are not kept by ATS.rip as persistent user records. Temporary processing and no persistent CV storage

ATS.rip, operated by AIKON Media, does not require an account for CV/resume optimisation. When you upload a CV/resume and optionally provide a job description, the extracted content is held temporarily in a technical session so the different steps of the optimisation process can work together. ATS.rip does not use this information to create a user profile, advertising profile or marketing database, and the CV/resume and job description are not retained by ATS.rip as persistent records after the service flow has been completed.

AI processing and OpenAI

To provide CV/resume optimisation, ATS.rip transmits the relevant text extracted from your CV/resume and, for Targeted optimisation, the job description you provide to OpenAI through its API. OpenAI is the AI service provider currently used by ATS.rip.

OpenAI states that inputs and outputs submitted through its API are not used to train or improve its models by default. Under OpenAI's standard API data controls, abuse-monitoring logs may contain customer content and may be retained for up to 30 days, unless different data-retention controls apply or longer retention is legally required. OpenAI processes data under its own applicable contractual, security, retention and legal obligations. Its processing is separate from ATS.rip's own temporary processing architecture. ATS.rip does not retain your CV/resume or optional job description as a persistent user record after the service flow has been completed.

Payment processing

Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout (opens in a new tab). ATS.rip does not directly collect or store your full card number or card security code. Stripe processes payment details and may collect contact or billing information as part of the checkout process under its own privacy policy. ATS.rip uses the Stripe Checkout session to verify that payment has been completed and to complete delivery of your optimised CV/resume.

To show the correct price for your region, ATS.rip determines the country of your IP address with a database stored on its own server. The IP address is not stored, logged or shared for this purpose.

Support enquiries

If you contact ATS.rip through Support (opens in a new tab), we receive the name, email address, topic and message you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not added to a marketing email list or used for promotional email marketing. Support messages are delivered to AIKON Media through our email service.

Data protection and privacy rights

Our data-minimisation approach is designed to reduce the amount of personal data retained by ATS.rip. AIKON Media operates ATS.rip and determines how personal data is processed for the purposes of providing the service, verifying payments, responding to support enquiries, maintaining service security and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Our privacy practices are designed with applicable data protection requirements in mind, including the GDPR (opens in a new tab) in Europe and the CCPA (opens in a new tab) in California, where applicable.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, object to certain uses of your data, request data portability where applicable, and lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection authority. Analytics, tracking and strictly necessary cookies

ATS.rip does not use advertising trackers, behavioural analytics or marketing cookies. The site uses a strictly necessary technical session to keep the different steps of your optimisation connected and to support security and payment verification. This session is not used to track you across other websites or build an advertising profile. ATS.rip keeps anonymous daily counts of page views and optimisation steps (no cookies, no IP addresses, no personal data) so we can see where the service can be improved.

Under EU ePrivacy rules, consent is generally not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user. Read the ePrivacy Directive (opens in a new tab).
